Sunday 11th.  “Fun” Christmas-themed doubles tournament.  Lightwater LC, 2 – 5 pm with “tea” afterwards.  Prize for best festive outfit won by Terry Inskip and the tournament winner was Derek Moore.

Friday 11th.  Club Dinner.  The Tiger’s Pad restaurant, Sunningdale 8pm.  Plus Club raffle.

21st-23rd October.  UKPA 1st International tournament open to players from England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.  Fenton Manor Leisure Centre, Stratford upon Avon.

18th/19th July. Visit by Torfaen PC, South Wales.  They attended the RR club session at Charters on Monday 18th, visited the Curfew Tower at Windsor Castle on Tuesday am (courtesy of Alan Speller and Royal Household Bowls Club) but suffered defeat by RR in the afternoon match.

1st May.  UKPA National Tournament, Abingdon, Oxon.

27th – 29th May.   3rd European Pickleball Tournament, Amsterdam, Holland.

16th – 19th Feb. Club members, Paul Telling & Alan Speller, travelled to Mallorca, Spain to give two “taster” sessions and playing instruction to a group of ex-pats residents on the island.  Hopefully, the new group will continue playing and flourish into a proper “club”.

21st January: Club A.G.M.  The Coffee Lounge Studio, Lightwater Leisure Centre.  7.30pm

The Club had it’s innaugural Dinner at The Tiger’s Pad, Sunningdale.  Rolf Evans (R) receives the Annual Significant Improvment Award (ASIA) 2015A raffle was held in aid of Club funds.  Barry Swadling won 1st prize, a Manta Pro paddle kindly donated by www.pickle-ball.co.uk.

Saturday, 24th October:  Mixed doubles match.  RRPC v South Oxford Clubs team. 09.30 am at ChartersLeisure Centre, Sunningdale.

RRPC team: Alan & Sue Carroll, Alan Speller & Joyce Davies, Leo Gonzales & RRPC presentationKaren Redman, Ajoy Sachdev & Jane Mulligan, Rolf & Shirley Evans.

Winners: RRPC.

RRPC’s Alan Speller is presented the trophy by Ian Wilson, Chairman of the UKPA.
